I just started a new adventure as the Global Head of New Business & Growth Strategy at Joveo, a fast-growing, innovative AI-led technology company… and I feel like Aladdin discovering the Cave of Wonders. I want to share why I’m so enthusiastic about this opportunity and how my experiences at Oracle and Accenture are shaping my vision for Joveo’s future.

This Is No Ordinary Lamp

Visionary founder and CEO Kshitij Jain is the genie who recognized the value of AI-based recruiting more than six years ago. In founding Joveo in 2017, KJ’s visionary spirit was to bring greater transparency and predictability to recruitment marketing. His focus was on building a cutting-edge technology platform that uses data and AI like magic to empower employers, staffing agencies, RPOs, and recruitment marketing agencies to find the best talent in less time and at the lowest possible cost.

Learning From Other Genies

At Oracle we made a major turnaround from selling products to delivering software as a service by understanding and respecting our clients’ tolerance for risk and their need for deep configuration to meet their requirements. At Joveo, we take this principle to heart, working closely with our customers to tailor our solutions to their unique needs.

The importance of adopting new tools and technologies is another vital lesson from Oracle. In a rapidly evolving industry like talent acquisition, staying at the forefront of innovation is crucial. At Joveo, we’re committed to pushing the boundaries of what’s possible through AI and machine learning, adding more magical tools to our Cave of Wonders.

At Oracle, I also saw firsthand that strong customer service is paramount for building trust. At Joveo we believe in going the extra mile to ensure our customers’ success, which is why we have a dedicated customer success team committed to providing exceptional service to our customers throughout their journey with us. Thanks to their dedication, G2, the world’s largest B2B marketplace, has recognized us with the Best Customer Support award for the last three quarters in a row.

It’s clear we know what our customers need. From understanding their challenges, to new tech, and stellar customer service, I am passionate about building on the solid foundation already in place, and taking Joveo to new heights.

Three Wishes

I’ve also taken away valuable insights from my two years leading an HR technology practice at Accenture. Our clients always had the same three major wishes:

  1. Know our business and our desired outcomes. “Listen carefully to our business requirements and understand our desired results.” This is a cornerstone of our approach at Joveo. We believe that the first step to delivering a solution is truly understanding the problem.
  2. Seamless integration. “Please integrate seamlessly with our existing solutions and technology landscape.” A strong user experience and adoption depends on this. The Joveo platform is designed with integration in mind, ensuring that our customers have a smooth and efficient experience while the magic of our tools continue to optimize recruitment outcomes.
  3. Innovation. “We want to get on the magic carpet with you!” Co-innovation is a concept I love to deliver to my clients. At Joveo, we’re not just providing solutions; we’re partnering with our customers to introduce and leverage new technologies that align with their specific requirements.

Understanding our customers’ business goals, providing seamless integrations, and co-innovation is already deeply ingrained in what we do at Joveo. I am committed to honing our approach even further, as we go from strength to strength.

My experiences at Oracle and Accenture are pivotal in shaping my approach at Joveo. In fact, these lessons are now the cornerstones of my vision for us as we move into this next stage of growth, from customer-centricity, to seamless technological integration, and continued co-innovation. We’re not just harnessing the power of AI to streamline recruitment; we’re crafting a platform that resonates with our customers’ unique needs, just as a genie tailors wishes to the wisher.
